As a continuation of my previous project integrating TouchID into a Grid100 Macropad, I took it a step further and integrated it into a Streamdeck!
Ironically, this was not my initial intention. I wanted to keep it integrated with the Grid100, but after using it for a while unfortunately the grid100 broke! The mainboard was damaged and the macropad was no longer functional. I was pretty bummed about it, but I decided to take the opportunity to see how I could integrate the sensor into a Streamdeck instead. The streamdeck approach was awesome, I could customize the streamdeck to have the same functionality as the macropad, but with the added benefit of having a screen on each key. This allowed me to have custom icons for each key, and also have the ability to change the icons on the fly. For the most part I keep it rather static, but the possibilities are endless with the streamdeck.

The design is based off this makerworld streamdeck design. I was luckily able to easily modify it to fit the sensor on the rear of the design. Its available to download right here if you want to print your own!
